Knitting instructions:
Cast on: multiple of 8 + 3 sts.
Row 1: *P3, k1, p3, M7; rep from *  last 3 sts then, p3
Row 2: K3, *p7, k3, p1, k3; repeat from *
Row 3: *P3, k1, p3, skpo, k3, k2tog; rep from *  last 3 sts then, p3
Row 4: K3, *p5, k3, p1, k3; rep from *
Row 5: *P3, k1, p3, skpo, k1, k2tog, rep from *  last 3 sts then, p3
Row 6: K3, *p3 k3, p1, k3, rep from *
Row 7: *P3, k1, p3, k3tog, rep from *  last 3 sts then, p3
Row 8: K3, *p1, k3, p1, k3, rep from *
Row 9: *P3, M7, p3, k1, rep*  last 3 sts then, p3
Row 10: K3, *p1, k3, p7, k3, rep from *
Row 11: *P3, skpo, k3, k2tog, p3, k1, rep from *  last 3 sts then, p3
Row 12: K3, *p1, k3, p5, k3, rep from *

Repeat these 16 rows till necessary for completing your project.

Abbreviations used in patterns:
Knit stitch: K
Purl stitch: P
Slip knit pass over: Skpo
Knit 2 stitches together: K2tog
Knit 3 together: K3tog
M7= [knit 1, (pur1 1,  knit 1) 3 times] all in next st
