There are many different techniques for making bobbles. In the technique shown here, there is no turning of the work for the specific purpose of finishing the bobbles.
Make bobble (BB): [K1, (YO, K1) 4 times] into next st. 9sts on needle, pass 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1 st st separately over last st knitted; past last stich back to left-hand needle and K1.
