Scarf Knitting- Broomstick Lace Stitch

The Broomstick Stitch  also referred to as Jiffy Lace, and can be found in both knitting and crochet. The broomstick stitch would be great for scarf, bracelet and sweater.

Knitting instructions:
Skill: Intermediate
Cast on: multiple of 5stitches.
Row 1(WS): Knit all stitches
Row 2(RS): *Knit1, wrapping yarn 3times around needle for each knit stitch, repeat from *
Row 3: *Slip knitwise next 5stitch to right-hand needle, dropping extra loops, slip these 5 stitches back to left- hand needle (knit 1, yarn over, knit1, yarn over, knit 1) into all 5 stitches together through the back loop. Repeat from * to end.
Row 4: Knit all stitches
Row 5: Knit all stitches
Repeat rows 2-5 until you have reached your desired length.
