Tube Scarf Knitting Pattern: Textured Slip Stitch

This is a warm winter scarf knitting with double thickness from the tube construction.

 A very simple scarf that looks really good and will keep you nice and warm this coming cold winter with double thickness from the tube construction. The knitting pattern is easy to memorize, knitted in the round with your chosen combination of colours. Give it a go I promise you'll not be disappointed.

Cast on 80 sts ( This tube pattern is based on a multiple of 4 sts, so you can adapt it to the size you need.)
Knit in the round for 40 rows (Using color A)
Rows 41 -> 43: Knit all (Using color B)
Rows 43 -> 45: Knit all (Using color A)
Rows 46 -> 48: Knit all (Using color B)
Row 49: Knit all (Using color A)
Row 50: Purl all (Using color A)

Textured Slip Stitch knitting pattern

The main body of this scarf is worked in textured slip stitch.

Rows 51 -> 53: *Slip stitch as if to purl, knit 3, rep* (Using color B)
Row 54: Knit all (Using color A)
Row 55: Purl all (Using color A)
Rows 56 -> 58: Knit 2, *Slip stitch as if to purl, knit 3, rep* to last st, knit 1(Using B)
Row 59: Knit all (Using color A)
Row 60: Purl all (Using color A)
Rows 51-> 60 can be repeated for as long as you like. Any adjustments to length should be made while working these rows.

Rows 61 -> 63: Knit all (Using B)
Rows 64 ->  66: Knit all (Using A)
Rows 67 -> 69: Knit all (Using B)
Then knit in the round for 40 rows (Using A)
Cast off.
Finish off by using either a crochet hook.
