Switch Two Colour Slip-Stitch Knitting

This knitting stitch is a beautiful combination of two color. Smooth yarns show the stitch pattern better but yarns with a little more texture would add interest and the color change will still show. Slip stitch color patterns are terrific for scarves or blankets

Pattern 1.
Knitting instructions:
With color A, cast on a multiple of 4 stitches +1.
Row 1 (wrong side): With color A, knit all stitches
Row 2 (right side): With color B, *slip 1 with yarn in back (wyib), knit 3, repeat from * to last st, slip 1 wyib.
Row 3: With color B, *slip 1 with yarn in front (wyif), k3, repeat from * to last st, slip 1 wyif.
Row 4: With color A, knit 2, *slip 1 wyib, knit 3, repeat from * last 3 st, slip 1 wyib, knit 2.
Row 5: With color A, knit 2 *slip 1 wyif, knit 3, repeat from * to last 3 st, slip 1 wyif, knit 2.
Row 6: With color B, repeat row 2
Row 7: With color B, repeat row 3
Row 8: With color A, knit all stitches
Repeat rows 1-8 till necessary for completing your project, ending with a row 1.

Pattern 2.
Slip-Stitch Knitting
Knitting instructions:
With color A, cast on a multiple of 4 stitches + 3. Repeat the pattern between the arrows as many times as you like.
Row 1 (RS): With color B, knit 1 *slip 1 with yarn in back (wyib), knit 3, repeat from * last 2 st. slip 1 wyib, knit 1.
Row 2: With color B, knit 1, *slip 1 with yarn in front (wyif), k3, repeat from * to last 2 st, slip 1 wyif, knit 1.
Row 3: With color A, *knit 3, slip 1; repeat from * to last 3 st, knit 3.
Row 4: With color A, *knit 3. slip 1 wyif; repeat from * to last 3 st, knit 3.
Repeat rows 1-4 till necessary for completing your project.
