The Horseshoe Lace Stitch is knitted in a multiple of 10 stitches plus 1 done over 8 rows. It is great for many projects including shawls, scarves, and more!
Knitting instructions:Cast on a multiple of 10 sts + 1.
- Pattern 1
Row 2 and all wrong side rows: Purl
Row 3: K1 * k1, yo, k2, sl2tog - k1 - p2sso, k2, yo, k2; repeat from * to end
Row 5: K1 * k2, yo, k1, sl2tog - k1 - p2sso, k1, yo, k3; repeat from * to end
Row 7: K1 * k3, yo, sl2tog - k1 - p2sso, yo, k4; repeat from * to end
Row 8: Purl
Repeat rows 1-8 until you have reached your desired length.

Row 2 and all wrong side rows: Purl
Row 3: K1 * k1, yo, k2, sl1 - k2tog - psso, k2, yo, k2; repeat from * to end.
Row 5: K1 * k2, yo, k1, sl1 - k2tog - psso, k1, yo, k3; repeat from * to end.
Row 7: K1 * k3, yo, sl1 - k2tog - psso, yo, k4; repeat from * to end.
Row 8: Purl
Repeat these 8 rows.

Slip 2 sts together as if to knit, knit 1, pass 2 slipped stitches over: SL2TOG - K1 - P2SSO
