Lace Knitting Pattern 16: Fern Lace Stitch

The Fern Lace Stitch is knitted in a multiple of 10 stitches plus 1 done over 16 rows. To make this pattern, please follow the instructions:

Row 1 and all wrong side rows: Purl
Row 2: K3 * k2 tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k5 repeat from * to last 8sts, k2 tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo,  k3
Row 4: K2 * k2 tog, (k1, yo) twice, k1, skpo, k3 repeat from * to last 9sts, k2 tog, (k1, yo) twice, k1, skpo, k2
Row 6: K1 * k2 tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, skpo, k1 repeat from *
Row 8: K2 tog * k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, sl 1-k2 tog-psso repeat from * to last 9sts, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, skpo.
Row 10: K1 * yo, skpo, k5, k2 tog, yo, k1 repeat from * to end.
Row 12: K1 * yo, k1, skpo, k3, k2 tog, k1, yo, k1 repeat from * to end.
Row 14: K1 * yo, k2, skpo, k1, k2 tog, k2, yo, k1 repeat from * to end.
Row 16: K1 * yo, k3, sl 1-k2 tog-psso, k3, yo, k1 repeat from * to end.
Repeat rows 1-16 until you have reached your desired length.

Knit stitch: K
Yarn over: YO
Knit 2 stitches together: K2TOG
Slip 1 as if to knit, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over: SKPO
