Lace Knitting Pattern 12: Tiny Teathers Stitch

The Tiny Feathers stitch is a lace stitch which resembles little feathers, hence the name.

The Tiny Feathers stitch is a lace stitch which resembles little feathers, hence the name.The lace pattern is a multiple of 6 stitches plus 1 done over 8 rows. To make this pattern, please follow the instructions:

Row 1 (RS): K1, *yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to the end.
Row 2 and all wrong side rows: Purl.
Row 3: K1, *yo, k1, sl 1- k2tog - psso, k1, yo, k1; rep from * to the end.
Row 5: K1, *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k1; rep from * to the end.
Row 7: K2tog, *(k1, yo) twice, k1, sl 1- k2tog - psso; rep from * to last 5 sts, (k1, yo) tiwice, k1, skpo.
Row 8: Purl.
Repeat rows 1-8 until you have reached your desired length.

Knitting abbreviations:
Knit stitch: K
Yarn over: YO
Knit 2 stitches together: K2TOG
Slip 1 as if to knit, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over: SKPO
Slip 1 as if to knit, knit 2 stitches together, pass slipped stitch over: SL1- K2TOG - PSSO
